Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Land Rights Technician to join our team at Bruton Knowles. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking the acquisition of land/rights in land and carrying out compensation work on major utility and infrastructure projects.

About the Position

This is a permanent/full-time position that requires exceptional skills and expertise in land rights acquisition, compensation, and project management. You will work closely with our clients to deliver high-quality solutions and ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire land/rights in land for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
  • Develop and implement effective compensation strategies to ensure fair and timely compensation for affected parties;
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients, stakeholders, and colleagues on land rights acquisition and compensation matters;
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and databases related to land rights acquisitions and compensation;
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in a relevant field, such as land law, surveying, or a related discipline;
  • Proven experience in land rights acquisition, compensation, and project management;
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
