### Job Title: Social Worker

### Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Social Worker to join our Adult Safeguarding Team at Newcastle City Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults.

### Responsibilities:

* Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs of vulnerable adults and develop tailored care plans to support their safety and well-being.
* Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, external agencies, and other professionals to coordinate services and resources.
* Participate in safeguarding investigations and contribute to the development of safeguarding plans.
* Maintain accurate records of assessments, care plans, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care.

### Qualifications and Requirements:

* Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England.
* Newly qualified with a strong desire to work in adult safeguarding.
* Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting adults at risk.
* Willingness to learn and develop within the field of adult safeguarding.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
