Job Title

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Support Specialist to join our client on a 3 month initial contract.

The ideal candidate will have a background in IT Support, with experience in solving tickets without escalation and a strong understanding of Microsoft Windows.

This role involves providing technical assistance to a range of customers with outsourced service desk, desktop support and more, including Cyber Essentials.

We are looking for someone who is willing to upskill and grow with the business, particularly in areas such as Office 365 and Azure support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solve as many tickets as possible without escalation, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide basic administration of SharePoint, ensuring efficient document management and collaboration.
  • Offer general MS Windows support, troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Stay interested in cyber security and Cyber Essentials, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Strong background in 1st/2nd Line IT Support, with experience in ticket escalation and resolution.
  • Basic administration skills for SharePoint, with knowledge of document management systems.
  • General knowledge of MS Windows, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
  • Interest in cyber security and Cyber Essentials, with a willingness to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Contract Details

Duration: 3 months (with a view to extend), offering a fixed-term contract with opportunities for growth.

Location: Kettering based, with a requirement for 5 days onsite work per week.

Rate: £110 to £120 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.

Status: Inside IR35, subject to HMRC guidelines.
