Job Summary:
CRA GROUP LIMITED is seeking a skilled Major Works Surveyor to manage multiple major works social housing refurbishment contracts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering and managing major capital works contracts, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and manage major capital works contracts, including contractor mobilisation, regular contract management meetings, valuations, and payment certificate process.
- Undertake technical expertise to understand complex issues in construction, engineering, and maintenance in the delivery of projects.
- Carry out on-site visits to provide technical advice and ensure resident satisfaction with the quality of works carried out.
- Ensure investment delivers value for money and is in accordance with budget and procurement approvals.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory obligations where applicable.
Requirements:
- Local Authority or Housing Association clientside housing refurbishment experience.
- Strong technical expertise in construction, engineering, and maintenance.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
