Job Description

Newlife seeks an experienced HR Operations Specialist to support the HR management team in delivering exceptional HR services.

About the Role

This is a key role within the HR department, responsible for providing administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of HR processes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting Line Managers with general HR queries, welfare meetings, investigations, and grievances, including note-taking and attending site meetings;
  • Compiling and analysing HR data metrics and statistics, including recruitment, labour turnover, training, employee relations issues, absence, and performance evaluations;
  • Leading internal and external audits, governance, and risk management;
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to review, improve, and record HR processes, documents, and policies;
  • Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process using the Applicant Tracking System, ensuring the best possible experience for new starters;
  • Processing starters, contract changes, and leavers through the HR Information System;
  • Assisting with various HR projects;

About You

We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a Human Resources Department, ideally holding a CIPD level 5 qualification (CPP). The ideal candidate will have experience of supporting Line Managers with HR queries and meetings, including note-taking. They will be able to produce and analyse HR data metrics for Line Managers and the Senior Leadership Team, demonstrating a good knowledge of HR practice and process.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage time and prioritise effectively. They will also be highly proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 and have a good working knowledge of HR Information Systems and databases.
