Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Technical Author to join our Information Products team at NCR Atleos. As a Technical Author, you will be responsible for creating and updating customer and service publications for our hardware products.

Key Responsibilities:

* Create and update publications for NCR Atleos hardware products, including ATM site preparation, installation, operator, service, and parts manuals.
* Identify improvements to publications and support transformation of delivery routes to users.
* Prepare project plans with key milestones and deliverables.
* Participate in review meetings with engineers and validate publications with hardware in labs.
* Manage workload and priorities to fit project timelines and communicate information about schedule milestones that may be at risk.
* Complete status reports and participate in department and project team meetings.

Requirements:

* Experience in an engineering, technical writing, or technical customer service role.
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
* Ability to multitask and have a sense of urgency.
* Customer focus/user-centred design awareness.
* Adherence to standards.
* Systematic and methodical approach to problem solving.
* Understanding of Product Lifecycle Management process and stakeholder roles.

Desirable Skills:

* Product knowledge; NCR Atleos ATM product family and devices an advantage.
* Technical communication tools such as MadCap Flare/Adobe Framemaker, PTC Creo or Solidworks, CorelDraw/Designer, Solidworks Composer, and knowledge of Subversion, GitHub, or comparable document repository software.
