We are looking for a talented STEM Education Mentor to join our team at Ribbons and Reeves Limited. As a Graduate School Mentor, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our Sixth Form students.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide guidance and support to students, helping them to succeed in their academic pursuits. You will also be responsible for promoting STEM subjects and encouraging students to pursue careers in these areas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in STEM subjects and a proven track record of success in teaching or mentoring. You will be an inspirational leader who can motivate and engage students, encouraging them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work with Sixth Form students as a Progress Tutor, providing individualized support and guidance.
  • To promote STEM subjects and encourage students to pursue careers in these areas.
  • To develop and deliver lessons and workshops that cater to the needs of students.
  • To collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant STEM subject (e.g., mathematics, physics, computer science).
  • Experience in teaching or mentoring, preferably in a Sixth Form setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: £39,000 - £44,000 per annum.
