About the Role

We are currently working in partnership with an educational organisation to seek a Therapeutic Outreach Tutor to join their team and support students in the community. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young people within an SEMH education setting, holding a minimum of TWO years of experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students to access their curriculum through one-to-one or small group sessions
  • Travel to different students and attend central school hub for specialised training & team meetings once a week
Requirements
  • Minimum TWO years experience working with young people within an SEMH education setting
  • Experience working with hard to reach young people with SEMH/ACE's/ASC/Sensory & communication difficulties
  • Trauma informed approach with a mentoring, coaching, teaching background
  • Ability to build strong relationships and maintain professional boundaries
Benefits
  • Reimbursement for travel expenses during work hours and lunch with students
