We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Dandara Limited. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for providing budget control and cost management for our residential housebuilding projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and negotiate initial site budgets, subcontract procurement, and risk assessments.
- Undertake site visits and inspections, coordinating with management and subcontractors.
- Carry out subcontract payments, variation claims, and final account settlements.
- Liaise with other departments and external consultants on cost issues.
- Issue interim payment applications to RSL Partners.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying within the residential housebuilding sector.
- Qualifications: Ideally a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, excellent communication, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with construction contracts, current building regulations, and industry standards.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Negotiable salary subject to experience.
