Quantity Surveyor Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Dandara, a leading private housebuilder in the UK. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and negotiate initial site budgets, subcontract procurement, and risk assessments.
  • Undertake site visits and inspections, coordinating with management and subcontractors.
  • Carry out subcontract payments, variation claims, and final account settlements.
  • Liaise with other departments and external consultants on cost issues.
  • Issue interim payment applications to RSL Partners.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in quantity surveying within the residential housebuilding sector.
  • Ideal degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, excellent communication, and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts, current building regulations, and industry standards.
