Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the safety team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Manage and analyse safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement, driving proactive solutions to enhance workplace safety.
  • Create reports, presentations, and documentation using Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Collaborate with management and the wider team to implement and maintain safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Proactively support the identification and resolution of safety-related issues through data management and timely communication.
  • Efficiently organise and maintain both physical and digital files to ensure easy access and retrieval of important documents.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within a safety or compliance environment.
  • Able to work independently, take the initiative to solve problems, and complete tasks without supervision.
  • Able to work well within a team, offer support, and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
  • Comfortable taking charge and able to provide valuable support to the management structure and assist with various administrative tasks to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Natural ability to influence and persuade others, making you effective in gaining support and driving initiatives forward.
  • Your enthusiasm and positive attitude are contagious, helping to motivate and inspire your colleagues.
  • Enjoy interacting with others and building strong relationships, which is essential for effective teamwork and collaboration.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits, including 33 days' holiday, private healthcare, generous employee discounts, life assurance, training opportunities, maternity and paternity packages, flexible leave, and much more.
