About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GP to join our team at Greenwich Health Ltd as a Clinical Lead GP. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative Urgent Treatment Centre, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the Urgent Treatment Centre
- Work autonomously within your sphere of competency as a lead clinician in a diverse, multi-skilled team
- Provide expert advice and second opinions for patients seen and treated by junior members of staff
- Contribute to specific care guidelines and standards supporting the care of patients across the health economy
- Implement Health and Safety and Risk Management appropriate to the area of work
- Deliver aspects of the Clinical Governance Agenda, following the direction of the Clinical Leadership
- Contribute to and manage various elements of auditing in the UTC
- Have overall responsibility for other members of the clinical team within the UTC, including their learning and development
- Work as a clinical mentor where appropriate for junior members of the clinical team

Requirements
- Qualified General Practitioner (completed certificate of Completion of Training CCT)
- A medical practitioner whose name is included in the General Practitioner Register under article 10 of the General and Specialist Medical Practice Order 200
- Currently on a PCT performers list and not suspended from that list or from the medical register
- Not subject to suspension under section 41A of the Medical Act 1983
- A strong background in NHS Primary Care
- Have had an annual NHS appraisal
- Good interpersonal and patient care skills
- Good written presentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise workload
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Support and develop the implementation of change processes
