The SATIS Education Ltd are seeking a high-calibre Finance and Governance Specialist to support the delivery of the Trust's Strategy.

We are looking for an individual with a passion for improving the education and life chances of all children, and who is committed to empowering our children to overcome barriers and shape the future.

The successful candidate will be a senior finance and risk professional with expertise in overseeing the financial performance of the Trust and ensuring its money is well spent.

A background in Academy Trust finance would be an advantage, but we would also welcome applications from high-level finance professionals from other sectors.

The Trust Board is currently in a position to develop and strengthen its skills and experience base, and would be particularly interested in hearing from individuals with a strong finance and governance background.

As a key member of the Trust Board, the Finance and Governance Specialist will be responsible for attending Board Strategy Development sessions, Board meetings, and Committee meetings, and will need to devote approximately 3-4 hours per month for these purposes.

Importantly, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced disclosure and barring service (DBS) check and other relevant safeguarding checks.

  • Providing strategic financial guidance and oversight to the Trust Board
  • Ensuring the Trust's financial performance is well-managed and effective
  • Supporting the development of the Trust's financial strategy
