Job Description:

Are you looking for a challenging role that combines retail and driving skills?

Meridian Business Support Careers is seeking a Trade Counter Assistant/Driver to join their Yeovil Branch.

The successful candidate will have experience in retail, trades, or construction, with a focus on customer support, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with trade counter sales, providing product knowledge and exceptional customer service

• Operate 5 tonne flatbed trucks and LWB vans, ensuring safe driving and vehicle maintenance

• Plan and execute delivery routes, ensuring timely and efficient service

• Work closely with the Branch Manager and Branch Supervisor to achieve sales targets and support branch operations

Requirements:

• Full driving license

• Retail, trades, or construction experience

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
