About the Role

Nuffield Health Barts Hospital is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Radiographer to join our bank staff on an ad-hoc basis. As a Mammographer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services for a varied caseload.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload
  • Work with leading practitioners in the department, on the ward and in theatre
  • Experience new practices, equipment and facilities
  • Develop policies, procedures and junior colleagues
  • See each patient as an individual and operate with understanding and empathy
  • Provide a service of the highest quality, with sensitivity and compassion

About Us

Nuffield Health Barts Hospital is a flagship center for cardiac services and provides a full range of surgical and medical services, including orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynaecology and urology services. Our hospital consists of 55 beds, including 7 Specialist intensive care beds, four of the most advanced digital operating theatres and Endoscopy and minor ops theatre. With 28 consultation rooms, Cardiac catheterisation lab, Oncology Day unit and full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray.

  • BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent), with a postgraduate qualification in an area of specialisation
