Principal Building Surveyor

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Building Surveyor to join our Central Government Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on building regulations and principal designer services to our clients across all RIBA Stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide principal designer (building regulations) services for CDM 2015 and building regulations to our clients.
  • Collaborate with the wider design disciplines, client personnel, and construction teams to deliver projects nationally for both public and private sectors.
  • Manage direct reports work outputs to ensure timely, in scope, and of a quality expected.
  • Work collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and share responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

Requirements:

  • MRICS or CIOB (Level 4 diploma in building control surveying) qualified.
  • Strong knowledge base including building control approvals and consultancy.
  • Delivery of work outputs within set time frames and commercial goals.
  • Team player capable of a flexible approach.
  • Strong IT capabilities including working experience of Microsoft Office and tablet & mobile data collection.

We are open to discussing part-time, flexible, and hybrid working options if suitable within the role.
