Temporary School Attendance Officer Opportunities

We are currently recruiting experienced School Attendance Officers to work on a temporary basis in Primary, Secondary, and SEN Schools across Coventry & Warwickshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor whole school attendance, persistent absence, and punctuality
  • On-going monitoring of attendance for students
  • Identify students who require support with their attendance
  • Liaise with Senior Leadership Team, Heads of House, and Tutors regarding students who are of concern
  • Raise attendance issues with parents
  • Meet with students and parents to support them in improving attendance
  • Meet with Education Welfare Officer on a weekly basis
  • Refer students who are not meeting attendance targets
About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced School Attendance Officers to work in a forward-thinking school environment. As a temporary School Attendance Officer, you will be supported by our experienced consultant, Lisa Drennan, who will provide guidance and support throughout your assignment.
