Senior Land Surveyor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Land Surveyor to join our team at Centara Engineering Services. As a Senior Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading our land surveying team and overseeing the execution of various surveying projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of land surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Conduct land surveys, including topographical surveys, utility surveys, and control establishment, using various survey equipment and software.
- Manage and train junior staff, providing mentorship and development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery and effective communication.
- Develop and implement surveying procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements, applying new techniques and technologies to improve surveying processes and outcomes.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years or more experience in geomatics, with a strong background in land surveying.
- Excellent knowledge of surveying software, including AutoCAD and survey processing software.
- Experience with n4ce software and Total Station setting out.
- Ability to work effectively alone or as part of a team, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Freedom to travel across the UK, with some overnight stays, and a full UK driving license.
- Experience of working within sub-stations and utility surveys.
- Any health and safety cards or qualifications.
- A good knowledge of LEICA total stations and GPS, and TRIMBLE total stations and GPS, with training qualifications relating to CSCS, and Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Surveying (or equivalent).
