Senior Land Surveyor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Land Surveyor to join our team at Centara Engineering Services. As a Senior Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading our land surveying team and overseeing the execution of various surveying projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of land surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct land surveys, including topographical surveys, utility surveys, and control establishment.
- Manage and maintain survey equipment, including Total Stations and GPS systems.
- Develop and implement surveying procedures and protocols to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Provide training and development opportunities to junior staff members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve surveying processes and procedures.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years or more experience in geomatics, with a strong background in land surveying.
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and survey processing software, including n4ce.
- Experience with Total Station setting out and utility surveys.
- Ability to work effectively alone or as part of a team, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Freedom to travel across the UK, with some overnight stays.
- Full UK driving license.
- Experience with health and safety protocols and procedures.
- Knowledge of LEICA and TRIMBLE Total Stations and GPS systems, with a Level 3 Diploma in Engineering Surveying (or equivalent) an advantage.
