Compliance Analyst Job Description

We are partnering with a reputable Insurance business to find a skilled Compliance Analyst to join their growing Compliance function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify that all necessary information is included in the KYC review of documents to meet regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with AML/KYC regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Report any suspicious or unusual activity to the Compliance department.
  • Use Sanctions & Regulatory Checking database to identify reputational or sanction-related issues.
  • Escalate identified 'High Risk' cases from due diligence and sanctions activities to management.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance on policy application and interpretation, including customer due diligence requirements.
  • Assist with specific departmental projects as needed.
  • Maintain adherence to company and regulatory policies, procedures, and mandatory training requirements.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Due Diligence/KYC/Compliance environment, preferably within the London Insurance Market.
  • Knowledge and use of sanction checking software.
