Sprinkler System Designer

Location: Central London with hybrid working available
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Sprinkler Design Engineer to join our team at Hall & Kay Fire Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sprinkler systems for various sectors on Main Contract projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop the design of sprinkler systems through coordination with client representatives and other service contracts.
- Contribute to the design programme by monitoring progress against the construction programme and specification requirements.
- Issue completion documents and certification.
- Obtain necessary information from relevant parties for the preparation of fully designed working drawings.
- Attend site meetings to discuss design matters.
- Prepare complete working drawings in accordance with design codes, including hydraulic calculations.
- List materials for procurement, estimating variations, and schedule of rates.
- Forward drawings and quantities to suppliers and subcontractors for procurement purposes.
- Other activities as instructed by the Project Manager or Design Manager.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of sprinkler system design and implementation. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
