About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer - Sprinkler Systems to join our team at Integral UK. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing sprinkler systems for various sectors on main contract projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop the design of sprinkler systems through coordination with client representatives and other service contracts.
  • Contribute to the design program by monitoring progress against the construction program and specification requirements.
  • Issue completion documents and certification.
  • Obtain necessary information from relevant parties for the preparation of fully designed working drawings.
  • Attend site meetings to discuss design matters.
  • Prepare complete working drawings in accordance with design codes, including hydraulic calculations.
  • List materials for procurement, estimating variations, and schedule of rates.
  • Forward drawings and quantities to suppliers and subcontractors for procurement purposes.
  • Other activities as instructed by the Project Manager or Design Manager.
Requirements
  • Comprehensive experience in a design engineering role within the sprinkler industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and familiarity with LPC BS EN 12845 rules.
  • LPCB Intermediate qualification and LPCB Full Hydraulic Calculation qualification (highly desirable).
  • Experience and proficiency in using Autocad and Revit 3D (highly desirable).
  • Knowledge of Factory Mutual Standards and NFPA standards.
  • HND or Degree qualification in a construction or engineering design-related topic (highly desirable).
  • Experience in managing, developing, mentoring, and leading a team.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and work under minimal supervision.
