Job Title: Vegetation Management Specialist

Chevron Green Services (CGS) is a leading provider of vegetation management services, and we are seeking an experienced and skilled specialist to join our team. Salary: The estimated salary for this role is around £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the appearance and safety of highways and other areas through effective vegetation management. This includes tasks such as cyclical grass cutting, weed control, tree and hedge work, path clearance, and planting schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cyclical grass cutting between March and October
  • Grass cutting via the use of tractors with front and side arm flails, remote control bank mowers, ride on mowers, specialist machinery such as reforms and barrier mowers, and brush cutters
  • Weed control
  • Tree and hedge work, whether that be hazardous tree removal, sign and CCTV clearance and hedgerow maintenance or reduction outside of bird nesting season
  • Path clearance
  • Planting schemes including complete de-vegetation of ditches or other infrastructures
  • Complete de vegetation for new structures and roads
  • Jet washing

The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of health & safety, be physically able and hold a Safety Critical Medical certificate, and possess a full UK driving license with less than 6 points. Beneficial qualifications include CSCS, ROLO, Lantra Tractor Driving, and NPTC Chainsaw CS30, CS31a, CS31b, CS38 & CS39.
