**Job Summary:**

As a seasoned Contract and Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for leading our Inland Waterways team, overseeing critical projects that require meticulous planning and execution. Your expertise in contract management, combined with your ability to build strong relationships and drive business growth, makes you an ideal candidate for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Developing and implementing effective project plans, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  2. Conducting site visits and surveys to assess project requirements, provide expert advice on vegetation clearance, and negotiate quotes.
  3. Maintaining strong client relationships, driving business growth and retention through excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  4. Managing NEC contracts, including early warnings and compensation events, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  5. Overseeing budgets and P&L accounts, making informed financial decisions to optimize resource allocation.
  6. Ensuring high health and safety standards, conducting thorough risk assessments and method statements to mitigate potential hazards.
  7. Anticipating and mitigating project risks, utilizing expertise to ensure timely completion and budget adherence.
  8. Leading a dynamic team: managing one Contract Manager and 5+ field teams (subcontractors), fostering collaboration and excellence.
  9. Addressing resource gaps and bringing in the best talent when needed, promoting diversity and inclusion within the team.

About You:

  • You possess extensive experience in tree and vegetation clearance, with a proven track record in contract management within the Arb industry.
  • Strong expertise in contract management within the sector is essential, coupled with commercial acumen to manage budgets and optimize resources.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities are vital for success in this role.

Salary and Benefits:
