Quality Technician Job Description

Mego Employment is seeking a Quality Technician to join our client's team in Plymouth.

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about quality and have a strong background in quality control.

You'll be responsible for ensuring products and processes meet the company's exacting quality standards, working closely with the team to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary quality contact on the shopfloor, providing support and addressing issues.
  • Conduct internal audits in line with the quality plan.
  • Perform quality checks on samples from core manufacturing processes.
  • Lead initial root cause analyses, focusing on practical and immediate containment measures.
  • Use APQP tools to support colleagues through the quality transformation process.
  • Update documentation and communicate with operators to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Represent quality principles in a professional manner, promoting the company's commitment to excellence.
