Grosvenor Casino Maintenance Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Grosvenor Casino in Newcastle upon Tyne. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the club looks and feels sharp, providing a safe and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, a clear understanding of reactive and proactive building maintenance, and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service. You will be responsible for prompt upkeep of the building, facilities, and all Rank assets, reporting and fixing equipment and building issues, and creating and implementing a preventative maintenance program.

You will also be responsible for carrying out daily, weekly, and monthly inspections and checks, liaising with local authorities and Rank health and safety managers as required. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential in maintaining the decor, fixtures, and fittings of the building to the required standard.

  • Maintain the building and surrounding area in good working order
  • Receiving, checking, and storing goods received under the correct conditions
