The Role: Lead Accountant

As a Lead Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of clients, dealing with all tasks from client contact through to ensuring that our internal and statutory deadlines for financial reporting are met.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Management: You will be responsible for maintaining a portfolio of clients and ensuring that their financial reporting needs are met.
  • Pro-active Advice: We aim to offer real-time advice based on the clients' circumstances as and when they happen, knowing the clients, their aspirations, and circumstances is essential in this role.
  • Team Development: You will be integral to the training and development of your colleagues.
  • Business Development: Along with other senior members of the team, you will help drive the business forward, ensuring that our reputation and standards are maintained.

What We're Looking For

Experience: A minimum of 3 years in practice with a proven track record of success.

Qualifications: Ideally, you will be fully qualified within ACCA/CIMA or ACA, though we will consider finalists with 4 exams remaining and the relevant experience.

Skills: Exceptional analytical abilities, strong attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.

Great Communication skills: We deal with a variety of creative individuals, so it's essential you are able to communicate effectively to ensure they receive the person-centered service they have come to expect.

Attitude: A proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a drive to exceed expectations.
