This is a diverse role requiring excellent project management, communication, and administrative skills. The Programme Officer will be responsible for coordinating a variety of projects, including clinical practice reviews and the development of guidance and information materials. They will also liaise with committee members and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and progress on projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate projects, including clinical practice reviews and the development of guidance and information materials.
  • Liaise with committee members and external stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and progress on projects.
  • Prepare consultation responses, reports, letters, and presentations on important issues affecting the medical profession and members.
  • Handle enquiries from members, medical professionals, and external stakeholders.
  • Use the CRM system to maintain accurate records, including contact details and tracking committee queries.
  • Work closely with the communications team to promote committee work and relevant projects.
  • Assist in financial management, including processing committee expense claims and preparing budgets for projects and programmes.

Requirements:

  • Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, and CRM/database systems.
  • A degree or equivalent experience is essential, and a project management qualification is desirable.
