We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Endoscopy team at Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the delivery of excellent endoscopy services.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a healthcare setting and hold a BSc (Hons) Nursing degree. You will be able to plan, assess, implement, and evaluate patient care, and possess up-to-date knowledge of current nursing issues and practice.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patients for endoscopic procedures and provide care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
- Assist the endoscopist during procedures and recover patients following endoscopic procedures.
- Participate in the on-call rota for GI bleeds and work as a registered nurse without direct supervision in the absence of the Ward Sister where necessary.
- Support and contribute to a ward culture which is conducive to learning and incorporate high-quality evidence-based practice into patient-centred care.
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting.
- BSc (Hons) Nursing degree.
- Ability to plan, assess, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Up-to-date knowledge of current nursing issues and practice.
