Job Title: Senior Registered Nurse - Clinical Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Lead in the Accident and Emergency department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and promote best practice.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and promote effective communication.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental budgets and resource allocation plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice.
  • Act as a positive ambassador for the Trust, promoting the values and standards of the organization.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with current registration with the NMC.
  • Proven experience in a clinical leadership role, preferably in an Accident and Emergency setting.
  • Strong clinical expertise and knowledge of current nursing practices and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to lead and manage change, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and promoting best practice.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
