Job Title: Positive Behavioural Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Positive Behavioural Specialist to join our team at SeeAbility. As a Positive Behavioural Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with complex needs to live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct support to individuals with positive behavioural needs, enabling them to participate in a wide range of activities.
  • Ensure good working practice, including understanding and awareness of health and safety.
  • Promote independence and develop skills, assisting with all tasks necessary to ensure positive life experiences.
  • Work positively with other agencies, parents, carers, and other services to ensure person-centred support.
  • Develop and contribute to the maintenance of records and support plans, and function as a Keyworker when required.
  • Support and maintain a clean-living environment appropriate to meet individual needs.
  • Participate in regular and ongoing training relevant to needs.
Requirements:
  • Calming and patient approach to supporting individuals with complex needs.
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues, families, and other stakeholders.
  • Manual UK driving licence and willingness to drive an automatic vehicle.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to SeeAbility's policies and procedures.
