Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced welder to join our team at WEC Group Ltd. As a welder, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate production
  • Record job bookings accurately and efficiently
  • Complete operations within allocated timeframes
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Conduct visual inspections to ensure components meet requirements
  • Perform first-off inspections as required
  • Undertake welder coding tests as necessary
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety standards
  • Perform other duties as required to support the role

Requirements

  • Self-motivated and focused individual
  • Relevant NVQ or equivalent qualifications
  • Reliable and enthusiastic team player
  • Able to work efficiently and accurately to deadlines
  • Able to follow instructions carefully and precisely
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Good understanding of English language
