Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Production Welder to join our team at WEC Group Ltd. As a Production Welder, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate production.
  • Accurately record all job bookings and maintain accurate records.
  • Complete operations within allocated time and improve processes to increase efficiency.
  • Conduct visual inspections to ensure components meet requirements and undertake first-off inspections as required.
  • Undertake welder coding tests as necessary and ensure compliance with Health and Safety standards.
  • Perform any other duties as required to support the role.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated and focused individual with relevant NVQ or equivalent qualifications.
  • Reliable and enthusiastic team player with ability to work to deadlines efficiently and accurately.
  • Able to follow instructions carefully and precisely, with good understanding of English.
  • Ability to carry out basic maths, including additions, subtractions, multiplications, and division.
