About the Role
The successful candidate will be part of our Group Strategic Analytics (GSA), acting as a bridge between the Bank's businesses and infrastructure functions. As a Quantitative Strategist, you will be responsible for implementing and delivering new business functions and non-functional platform improvements for our electronic trading platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the business on further build out of the eTrading platform
  • Implement and deliver new business functions and non-functional platform improvements
  • Develop functional and non-functional requirements in close collaboration with other engineers, quants, and traders
  • Participate fully in code reviews as both an author and a reviewer
  • Actively improving team software development processes

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have excellent core Java programming skills, ideally in a front office electronic trading environment, along with a good understanding of cash and derivative rates and credit products. Additionally, experience of modern patterns for continuous delivery of software and a sound grounding in the principals of computer engineering are highly desirable.
