At Thurn Partners, we are seeking a highly experienced Quantitative Trading Strategist to spearhead our new quantitative practice across European options and futures.

As the Head of Research and Development for Europe, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day research agenda while driving the strategic design, development, and optimization of our trading activities.

We offer a competitive salary of £120,000 - £180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our team is based in London, United Kingdom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement successful trading strategies across multiple asset classes.
  • Collaborate with the risk management team to establish and maintain appropriate risk controls.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including brokers, exchanges, and technology partners.
  • Contribute to the decision-making process of our European expansion and hiring strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in quantitative trading, preferably within a high-frequency trading environment.
  • A proven track record of successful trading strategies across multiple asset classes.
  • Knowledge of European markets is an advantage.
