Role Overview

The Fixed Income eTrading team at ING is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Trading Strategist to join their ranks. As part of this team, you will be responsible for developing the next generation of algorithms and pricing logic that drive trading decisions.

This role presents an excellent opportunity for career progression within eTrading and trading functions, with exposure to other global FM trading locations and ING's client execution team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced algorithms for trading and risk management;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions;
  • Contribute to the development of ING's eTrading strategy and vision;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in a quantitative subject (e.g., mathematics, physics, computer science);
  • At least 5 years of experience in Front Office roles, including algorithm development and automated trading;
  • Strong research and analysis skills, with proficiency in Python programming language;
  • Familiarity with various development technologies, such as KDB+, Proprietary Software, and Java;
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with q/KDB+ and Broadway technology;
  • Strong development skills in Java programming language;
  • A Ph.D. in a quantitative subject;
