Quantitative Researcher - Algorithmic Trading

Quantitative Talent Ltd is seeking a skilled Quantitative Researcher to join its team in London. As a Junior Quantitative Researcher, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying trading algorithms using our best-in-class trading system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing trading algorithms
  • Exploring trading ideas by analyzing market data and market micro-structure
  • Creating tools to analyze data for patterns
  • Contributing to libraries of analytical computations to support market data analysis and trading
  • Developing, augmenting, and calibrating exchange simulators

Requirements:

  • Masters or PhD degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent STEM degree
  • Experience designing, implementing, and deploying high-frequency trading and/or mid-frequency trading algorithmic strategies
  • Strong background in mathematics and statistics
  • Proficiency in back-testing, simulation, and statistical techniques
  • Solid data-mining and analysis skills
  • Familiarity with signal generation and statistical models
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C++
