An exciting opportunity has arisen within NHS Dental Services to join our Dental Business Development Team as a Band 6 Service Improvement Officer. This role forms part of our succession plan and transition from the Compass system to the new solution being developed by the Transforming Dental Services (TDS) project.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with stakeholders to define requirements and create detailed documentation.
- Support the Service Improvement Lead in delivering continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with external stakeholders to ensure NHS Dental Services interests are represented.
- Monitor complex data sets to identify areas for improvement and implement measures to improve performance.
- Set KPIs in collaboration with senior managers and monitor delivery against these.
- Represent NHS Dental Services for Information Governance, including Information Security, Business Continuity, Records Management, and compliance with Data Protection and Freedom of Information Acts.
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to highlight improvement areas.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to see wider implications, consequences, and connections for all issues.
- High level of confidence and ability to engage with and influence others.
- Proactive individual who works well independently or as part of a team.
