Mitcham, Greater London, United Kingdom HC-One Full time
About The Role

Please note that this position is part-time, requiring night shifts on weekends, for a total of 22 hours per week.

In your capacity as a Care Assistant at HC-One, you will prioritise kindness above all else. This value impacts every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are individuals with their own stories to tell.

By joining HC-One, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the lives of others.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our team at our care home. Our focus is on providing high-quality care, whether it's long-term, short-term, convalescence, respite, or palliative care.

As a Care Assistant under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical and emotional well-being and social needs of our residents are met. This includes assisting with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing, and meal assistance.

Our goal is to deliver care that comes from the heart, ensuring our residents maintain their dignity and sense of individuality. You will get involved in general activities within the care home, helping residents with limited mobility learn to use aids, offering emotional support to those who need it, and delivering end-of-life care with compassion.

Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility, so you must be able to recognise signs of potential abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to address concerns.

About HC-One

At HC-One, kindness is not just a word; it's a core belief that caring for people means caring about what matters most to them. We strive to provide the kindest possible care, enabling our residents to lead their best possible life.

To achieve this, we foster a culture of inclusivity, valuing diversity and promoting a workplace where everyone feels welcome and supported.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from £9.00 to £10.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a range of benefits, including:

  • A comprehensive company pension scheme
  • 28 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays
