Job Description

Job Title: Finance and Credit Assistant

Job Type: Permanent

Location: Hybrid - Burton upon Trent

Rewards4, the largest operator of sports-based loyalty and rewards programmes in the UK and Ireland, is seeking a highly skilled Finance and Credit Assistant to join their team.

The successful candidate will have proven experience within a finance/accounts role and possess an exceptional eye for detail to provide effective support to the team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to be involved in a broad spectrum of finance duties, including:

  • Sales Ledger processing - raising and sending out all invoices in a timely manner
  • Purchase Ledger processing
  • Cash and Bank Reconciliations
  • Maintenance of Sales and Purchase Ledgers
  • Preparation of control account reconciliations
  • Checking all monthly credit card transactions, matching with receipts and allocating as an appropriate expense
  • Dealing with accounts related queries and requests via telephone and email
  • Implementing necessary controls and processes within the Finance Department
  • General office admin tasks, such as ordering stationery and kitchen supplies

The Finance and Credit Assistant will also participate in the development and delivery of initiatives geared at pushing forward the Finance Department road map.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance Manager and Finance Director in ensuring that departmental KPI's are met and objectives are pushed forward to completion
  • Provide the Finance Manager with regular reports as instructed

Requirements:

  • Experience of using Sage 50 cloud accounts
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong background of working within a busy finance team
  • Level 3 AAT qualified (desirable) or equivalent level of finance/accounting experience
