Chief Executive Officer

Oxford Food Hub is seeking a visionary leader to drive its next phase of growth and expansion. As Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for guiding the organisation through a period of strategic development, enhancing its impact, and securing financial sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan to drive organisational growth and expansion.
- Market Analysis and Adaptation: Conduct market analysis and adapt the organisation's operations to meet the evolving needs of food surplus sources and trends.
- Operational Excellence: Drive improvements in operational efficiency, logistics, and food redistribution, and expand the organisation's capacity and network.
- Financial Sustainability: Ensure the organisation's financial stability and develop diverse funding streams.
- Community and Stakeholder Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, and serve as the public face of Oxford Food Hub.
- Governance and Compliance: Ensure the organisation adheres to all relevant legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, and develop and implement risk management strategies.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a senior leadership role within the charity, private, non-profit, or food redistribution sectors, with a proven track record of strategic planning and organisational growth. They will also possess excellent line management skills, strong financial acumen, and a deep understanding of the UK's regulatory environment for food redistribution and charitable activities.
Oxford Food Hub is a pivotal organisation in the sourcing and redistribution of surplus food across Oxfordshire, assisting over 200 charities and community groups. The mission is to continue providing this essential service at no cost to suppliers and charities, with a commitment to environmental sustainability and community support.
