Nexus Health Limited is seeking an experienced Advanced Physiotherapist to join our team as a First Contact Physiotherapist. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients in West Hertfordshire.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and motivated physiotherapist to work in a multidisciplinary team, providing first contact physiotherapy services to patients in primary care. The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role, with a strong understanding of musculoskeletal (MSK) issues and the ability to work autonomously.
Main Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with MSK problems and undifferentiated conditions.
- Work independently in clinical practice, making decisions about the best course of action for patients' care.
- Provide clinical expertise, acting as first-contact physiotherapist and making decisions about the best course of action for patients' care.
- Progress and request investigations to facilitate diagnosis and choice of treatment regime.
- Develop integrated and tailored care programmes in partnership with patients.
- Liaise with secondary care MSK services, community care MSK services, and local social and community interventions as required.
- MSc or MSc Module in Physiotherapy or a related field.
- Experience of working as a Band 8a in an NHS setting.
- Injection therapy experience.
- Able to take virtual and face-to-face consultations.
