Early Years Educator

YMCA Nursery Newport is a vibrant community that believes in the potential of every child. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be part of a team that supports children on their journey of self-discovery and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a nurturing environment that encourages children to meet their full potential through play and learning.
- Support children, colleagues, and parents; plan and deliver activities that promote child development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, adhering to policies and procedures set by the nursery.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your practice and contribute to the growth of the organization.
Requirements:
- A Level 2/3 childcare qualification or relevant experience is desirable.
- A commitment to providing high-quality childcare, including physical care and hygienic practice, for children aged 4 months to 5 years.
- Knowledge of child development, statutory frameworks, and relevant legislation.
