About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Quantity Surveyor to join our London cost management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing high-standard cost and procurement management processes and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement cost management strategies to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage and coordinate the procurement process, including tendering, contract administration, and payment.
  • Provide expert advice on cost management and procurement to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects across various sectors, including residential, infrastructure, and defence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
Requirements
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Full membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or working towards it.
  • Proven experience in pre and post-contract cost management, including budget setting, change management, risk assessment, and procurement.
  • Experience working with NEC, JCT, and bespoke forms of D&B contracts.
  • Infrastructure and residential sector experience is preferred, but not essential.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with virtual project teams and motivate junior team members.
