Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Hill House, a 24-bed care home with nursing in Sandbach. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to live fulfilling lives.

About the Role:
  • Assist with daily life tasks, including personal care, medication, and mealtimes, to promote independence and dignity.
  • Escort and assist residents in and around the service, at external events, and appointments, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Support our Person-Centred approach, encouraging maximum independence and helping residents achieve their individual aspirations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and creativity in working with residents and their families, adapting to changing needs and circumstances.
  • Personal care experience is desirable but not essential; we offer an excellent training and induction programme for everyone.
  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Flexibility to work within rostered hours and participate in an on-call rota where required.
