Procurement Specialist

A leading global company in design and manufacturing is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join their team based on the outskirts of Maidstone, Kent. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of parts and materials to achieve internal and external production targets while securing the best value for the business.
The successful Procurement Specialist will be responsible for interpreting the company's requirement plan and progress purchase orders, analysing buying patterns and assessing suppliers to maintain optimal stock levels, developing and maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure timely deliveries, and securing long-term cost agreements and reviewing purchase agreements regularly.
This is a permanent position with a salary of £33,280.08 per annum. The company offers a generous benefits package including pension, life cover, health cash plan, and 25 days holiday, as well as great company culture with a focus on employee wellbeing and long service awards, and opportunities for professional development and obtaining CIPS qualifications.
