About the Role

We're on the hunt for a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Lounge. As a key member of our kitchen crew, you'll be responsible for leading shifts, ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly and safely, and upholding our high standards of food quality and presentation.

What We're Looking For
  • You're probably an existing Sous Chef, or perhaps a Junior Sous Chef/Assistant Kitchen Manager looking to take the next step in your career.
  • You'll have experience working with fresh ingredients and be able to demonstrate good chef/kitchen skills (food prep hot and cold, cleaning, knife skills, good hygiene practices).
  • Your work ethic is all about rolling your sleeves up and getting stuck in, leading from the front and playing an active role in delivering excellent kitchen and food standards as part of a high-performing team.
  • You're extremely driven and relentless in your pursuit of excellence, with a strong knowledge of best practice around rota scheduling, sales and labour forecasts, reporting, recruitment, HR, and training.
  • You'll have demonstrated successful delivery of training and recruitment for kitchen teams, including Apprentices, KPs, Chefs, Junior Sous Chefs, and Sous Chefs.
