SEN Teaching Position Overview

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled SEN Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching KS3 or KS2 aged students and be committed to delivering high-quality education to children with special educational needs.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Design and deliver inclusive teaching practices that promote equality and accessibility in the classroom.
  2. Assess and record students' progress, using data to inform teaching decisions and enhance learning outcomes.
  3. Collaborate with other teaching staff and SEN specialists to develop and implement effective instructional strategies.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS) certification.
  • Have experience teaching primary or secondary education, preferably in an SEN setting.
  • Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility when working with students with diverse needs and abilities.
  • Possess a strong commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in special education.
