About the Role
The Bedford College Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Estates and Facilities Management to lead our estates service and create a safe, sustainable, and positive environment across our college campuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and operational leadership to the estates service, ensuring the learner remains at the heart of everything we do.
- Identify and prioritize capital projects across the estate, securing external funding opportunities and project managing significant refurbishment or new build projects.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive estates strategy, aligning with the group's overall vision and goals.
- Lead a team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality estates services.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, building codes, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Recent experience in a leadership role within estates and/or facilities management.
- Proven track record in successful strategic and project planning.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations, building codes, and environmental regulations.
- Experience in securing external funding for projects.
