About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Supported Living Specialist to join our team at Home Group. As a Supported Living Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers who have complex needs to develop their skills and live more independently in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with practical, daily living tasks to develop their independence and achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Support customers with daily living activities such as making meals, shopping, budgeting, and maintaining their tenancy.
  • Accompany customers to appointments, help them participate in hobbies and interests, and support them in attending college or work.
  • Support customers with their personal care and medication needs.
  • Carry out risk assessments, support planning, goal setting, and regular reviews.

Requirements

  • A Level 2 Health and Social Care Certificate or willingness to work towards it.
  • Experience of caring for others, either in a professional or personal capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
